SCOFFLAND is the food newsletter of dreams. It encompasses all things food in Scotland, creating a space to discover the stories of the chefs and food business owners behind the incredibly exciting Scottish food scene.
I moved to Edinburgh in 2018 and very quickly began making a list of the different cafes, bakeries and restaurants I wanted to visit. I don’t think I’ll ever truly finish adding to the list, there is just so much the Scottish food scene has to offer. I have just finished my time studying and now look forward to starting my career in hospitality PR in London in the next few weeks. I will really miss Scotland but hope to continue SCOFFLAND as a broader concept, writing a little more about different London restaurants and cafes which I so look forward to discovering!
There are so many food businesses I admire here in Edinburgh, whether that be in the more commercial or hospitality side of things, and I have so many questions I would love to ask, and so what better way to combine my curiosity and enthusiasm for Scotland’s food industry in one spot.
Over the next few weeks I will be sharing conversations with some of the most exciting voices in the Scottish food industry. I cannot wait to share them with you.
